- Two 8MB modules can be configured as a single contiguous 16MB memory block.
- Single-sided vs double-sided doesn't matter. What matters is single-bank
- vs double-bank, and how the WE jumpers are set. All 8MB SIMM's compatible
- with most Amiga/Mac/PC platforms are built using two banks of 4MB, thus
- they should both be dual-bank.
-
- If you only have two 8MB SIMM's installed, set the jumpers on the WE for
- dual-bank and 4/8 MB size. If you install the two SIMM's in adjacent slots,
- the WE autoconfig software should configure them as one 16MB block.
-
- Hope this helps.
